Fuzzy Multi-Mode Time–Cost–Quality Trade-Off Optimization in Construction Management of Hydraulic Structure Projects

Along with the increased use of water resources, some large conservancy projects began construction to address power supply shortages and control flooding drainage. As investment grows, cycles lengthen, external environmental impacts become bigger, civil engineering project management becomes more complex. The real aim hydraulic-structure model is manage ways delivering on time while maintaining reasonable quality standards building costs, optimize value. We note that trade-off between conflicting objectives in a an uncertain environment difficult task. To simulate relationship project’s its limit, two new piecewise functions—a double exponential function quadratic function—were proposed, then fuzzy multi-mode discrete time–cost–quality concept for water-management was established. This finds best solution NP-hard problem using particle-swarm optimization algorithm (PSO). A comparison calculations previous studies validates computational approach. optimized results conservation are provided as conceptual framework planning timeframes.
